Fable Diner began as the presentation of an opportunity. Well over a year before finally opening the Diner, Fable Kitchen sent out an email to the database of guests about an up-coming special ‘Top Chef’ dinner. An anonymous email came back – owners of a restaurant space that were looking for strong operating partners to open something new in an amazing location.
The seed was planted and not long after, a handshake was made. Opportunity taken.
The location is at the bottom of the iconic Lee Building at the corner of Main and Broadway. This space has held a diner since 1949. The desire to continue the heritage of the space along with the core values of Fable (Farm to Table) grew into a concept – Fable Diner. A modern day diner serving food made with integrity and skill served in a clean and welcoming space by good people.
